La Naranja is a washed coffee from 3 farms; ‘La Hondura, El Mango & Trapiche’ owned by Esbin Bellasmin & Maria Domitila Flores Puelles.
Both Esbin’s & Maria’s farms are located in La Naranja, a town high in the Cajamarca region of Peru.
The coffee is handpicked and depulped, then put in wet fermentation tanks for 30-36 hours before being washed three times and dried on raised beds for 10-15 days. The result is a clean coffee with soft blueberry and apricot flavours, a crisp lemon acidity and a smooth hazelnut finish.
